Japan to allocate $37 million for purchase of drone detection systems for Ukraine

Japan will allocate $37 million to a NATO fund that will purchase drone detection systems for Ukraine, reports RBC Ukraine, referencing a statement made by Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa during her visit to Kyiv on January 7.

Kamikawa also reported that Japan will provide Ukraine with five mobile gas turbine generators and seven transformers to help the country get through the winter months.
