The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into Russian YouTuber Yury Dud for “discrediting” the army, reports state news media TASS, referencing a source in law enforcement.

According to the outlet’s source, the reason for the investigation was “an appeal from a social activist” regarding the publication of Dud’s interview with Russian singer Vika Tsyganova and her husband Vadim. TASS notes that Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, had previously denounced Dud.

The source added that the investigation would continue until at least early December.
