Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions leaves one dead, injures several others, including two children

Russian forces attacked Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions using cruise and ballistic missiles, reported Ukraine’s Air Force Command.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down three Iskander-K cruise missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk region. There were no reports of air defenses shooting down the ballistic missiles.

According to preliminary information, missile debris hit several homes in the Poltava region’s Myrhorod district, reported Filipp Pronin, the region’s governor. One woman was killed, and several others, including two children, were injured.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, said that an infrastructure facility in the region was hit. Public Telegram channels had reported ballistic missiles in the region.
