Vladimir Putin to hold ‘major meeting’ to address anti-Semitic riot in Dagestan

Source: Meduza

Vladimir Putin will hold a “major meeting” to address the anti-Semitic riot that occurred in Dagestan, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state media on Monday.

According to Peskov, the meeting will include Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and multiple top security officers. The officials will discuss the “attempts by the West to use the events in the Middle East to split Russian society.”

The press secretary said it’s “obvious that yesterday’s events around the Makhachkala airport are largely the result of outside interference,” and that “ill-intentioned actors find it very easy to exploit” the graphic images and reports coming from the war between Israel and Hamas.
