On the evening of October 21, Russia carried out a missile strike on the village of Korotych in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. Kharkiv governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that six people were killed and 16 were injured as a result of the attack.

According to Syniehubov, Russia attacked a Nova Poshta mail distribution center with C-300 missile systems. Two of the people injured were in critical condition, while another six were in serious condition, reported Synyehubov.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said the terminal sustained significant damage in the attack. Seven trucks and two semi-trailers were also damaged.

According to reports from the distribution center, employees didn’t have a chance to seek shelter because the alarm only sounded right before the explosion.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian forces carried out a strike on a civilian target and called for increased international pressure on Russia.
