A picketer was detained for holding an anti-terrorism sign outside of the Israeli embassy in Moscow, reports OVD-Info. Irina Zavyanova, the picketer, provided human rights activists with a photograph of the sign, which shows the word “terrorism” crossed out.
After being detained, she was taken to the Yakimanka District Police Department, where they are planning to create a detention report under Article 20.2 of Russia’s Code of Administrative Offenses (for violating the regulations for holding rallies), according to OVD-Info.
