The Russian Defense Ministry said that two Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Russia’s Kursk region and two more were destroyed over Russia's Bryansk region.
The Tula region's Regional Security Ministry said, in turn, that air defense systems in the territory had also been triggered. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or damage.
Moscow airports imposed flight restrictions on the evening of September 24 which were lifted by morning. Authorities did not give a reason for the restrictions; however, as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty notes, these are often put in place when drones approach Moscow.
