Russia’s public services website launches portal called ‘I’m in Russia’ for residents of occupied territories
Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media finalized the development of a portal called “I’m in Russia” for residents to receive public services in Ukrainian territories annexed by Russia. This was reported by United Russia Chairman and former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, who spoke at a party meeting by video.
RBK noted that Medvedev’s 28-year-old son Ilya participated in the meeting on Thursday. According to United Russia’s press service, Ilya Medvedev coordinated the “I’m in Russia” project, which was initiated by United Russia in May of this year.
Maxut Shadayev, the head of Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, said that “I’m in Russia” is a “separate window” on the public services website Gosuslugi, where residents of the Russian-annexed Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions can learn more about receiving certain services. According to Shadayev, the portal is already open to the public.
