Seven killed and 148 injured in Russian missile strike on Chernihiv

Update: According to the latest reports, at least seven people were killed and 148 people were injured in the attack.

Russia launched an attack on the center of Chernihiv, said the region’s governor Vyacheslav Chaus.

According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out by a ballistic missile. Ihor Klimenko, Ukraine’s interior minister, reported that six people had been killed and 37 were injured as a result of the attack. 11 children were among those injured. Klimenko later added that a six-year-old child was killed.

A Ukrainian Telegram channel reported that the missile hit a theater where a drone manufacturing exhibition was reportedly taking place.
