Russian media publishes photos of new domestic smartphone, R-FON

Vladimir Zykov, the head of a Russian organization for professional social media users, has published new photos and information about the technical features of the R-FON, a new domestic smartphone that uses a Linux-based operating system.
According to Zykov, the device has a 6.7-inch display, eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage, two SIM card slots, a USB-C port, and a fingerprint sensor, among other features. The phone is reportedly slated enter Russia’s consumer market in 2024.
The outlet RBC previously reported that the new smartphone will cost up to 40,000 rubles ($425).
