Russia says ships heading to Ukrainian ports will be considered potential military carriers following termination of grain deal
After the Kremlin announced the grain deal had been terminated, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that all vessels heading toward Ukrainian ports will be considered potential carriers of military cargo starting July 20.
The Defense Ministry added that the vessels’ flag states “will be considered involved in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Kyiv regime.” It also stated that areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the Black Sea’s international waters would be declared temporarily unsafe for navigation.
