On the evening of July 17, a man threw a Molotov cocktail at Lenin’s Mausoleum on Red Square in Moscow, according to Telegram channels Baza and Shot. The arsonist was arrested by the police.
According to Baza, the detainee is 37-year-old Konstantin Stachukov from Chita. He is being investigated for disobeying the police. Shot also notes that the Stachukov’s birthday is July 18, without indicating how this might be related to the incident.
There is no information about the arsonist’s motives yet. The mausoleum was not damaged.
