Car traffic on Crimean bridge resumes, cars taking turns using open lane

Less than a day after the attack on the Crimean bridge, automobile traffic has partially resumed.

The rightmost lane on the Taman-Kerch side of the bridge is open for cars, writes RBK. Use of the lane alternates between the two directions of travel.

Before the lane was opened, the queue of cars trying to leave the annexed peninsula, reached at least two kilometers (about 1.2 miles), reports TASS.

Politika Strany writes that, after traffic resumed, the traffic jam on the Krasnodar side had grown to several hundred cars heading for Crimea.
