Source: Meduza

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mercenary Wager Group has received more than 858 billion rubles ($9.8 billion) in government contracts, the state-owned television channel Russia 1 reported during a weekly news show hosted by Dmitry Kiselev.

According to Kiselev, Prigozhin’s Concord company provided services valued at 845 billion rubles ($9.6 billion).

Kiselev noted that those numbers “don’t mean that [Prigozhin’s company’s] had that much income, but they still speak to the scale of his business and his ambitions.”

He didn’t specify the period during which Wagner Group and Concord received this money, nor did he state where he’d gotten the information.
