Vladimir Putin will make a “series of important announcements” later tonight, says Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
A notice at the top of the Russian Channel One website read “An address from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Soon.”
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will reportedly answer journalists’ questions tomorrow, after initial reports that he would also be making an announcement tonight.
