When the Moscow Exchange opened on Monday morning, the value of the ruble fell to 87 against the dollar for the first time since March 29, 2022, and the exchange rate with the euro hit 95 rubles.
Within an hour, the ruble regained some of its value. As of 8:30 a.m. Moscow time, the dollar was valued at 85.95 rubles (1.25 rubles higher than at market close on Friday) and the euro at 93.73 rubles (1.39 rubles higher than Friday).
