Evgeny Prigozhin announces start of Wagner Group’s withdrawal from Bakhmut

Evgeny Prigozhin’s press service has published a new video in which the Wagner Group head announces the start of the paramilitary cartel’s withdrawal from Bakhmut.
Speaking from the city itself, Prigozhin says the Wagner units there will be fully withdrawn by June 1 and that their positions will be taken over by Russian military units.
After leaving Bakhmut, according to the clip, Wagner Group will take a break, repair its equipment, and recruit new mercenaries before eventually “starting a new assignment.”
