Police in Russia’s Leningrad region have arrested artist and activist Katrin Nenasheva for 48 hours on misdemeanor charges that she disobeyed police, according to the human rights media project OVD-Info.

Nenasheva’s arrest took place on Monday evening. Musician and activist Natalya Chetverio, who was with Nenasheva at the time, said that two police officers approached the women in a cafe and told Nenasheva she needed to come with them to the station because an all-points bulletin had been issued for her.

It’s unclear where or when Nenasheva is alleged to have disobeyed police.
