Chinese leader Xi Jinping will visit Russia on March 20–22, Russian state news agency Interfax reported on Friday.
According to the Kremlin, the two presidents plan to discuss “issues relevant to the future development of the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China,” as well as a “number of important bilateral documents.”
China’s foreign ministry, meanwhile, said that Beijing plans to ”adhere to an objective position on the Ukrainian crisis and play a constructive role in advancing negotiations,” according to the Russian state outlet RIA Novosti.
The last time Putin and Xi Jinping held talks was at an online meeting in late December 2022.
