A Ukrainian court has sentenced the RT propagandist Anton Krasovsky to five years in prison. The trial took place in absentia, reports Ukraine Security Service in a press release.

Krasovsky was found guilty of inciting a genocide of Ukrainians and urging an overthrow of the country’s legitimate government. The Security Service notes that Krasovsky supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine, justified the wartime atrocities committed by the Russian army, and spread these convictions on live television and Telegram.

The Security Service claims that it knows Krasovsky’s present location and is “conducting a complex of tasks to make him accountable.”
