Explosion at Samara weapons plant kills one and injures three

At least one person was killed and at least three were injured by an explosion at a defense enterprise in Russia’s Samara region on Thursday, state media reported.

The blast occurred at a plant in the city of Chapayevsk that manufactures detonators and explosives, a source from the local emergency services told TASS. A source from the plant said that law enforcement agencies are still investigating the incident.
