Retired married couple in Podolsk try set fire to a military enlistment office

In Podolsk, a married couple of pensioners tried to set fire to a military enlistment office.

News site Podyom writes that a 70-year-old man soaked a rag in a gasoline canister, lit it on fire, and put it on the windowsill of the military enlistment office. Meanwhile, his 76-year-old spouse made a video of the event.

The couple were arrested by police who were passing by. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the pensioners’ actions is still unknown.

Since the beginning of the war, there have been dozens of confirmed cases of arson at military enlistment offices. Such incidents dramatically increased after mobilization was announced, in September.
