A fire broke out at the Markovskoye oil and gas field in the Irkutsk region.
According to emergency services reports, natural gas processing equipment is on fire.
Governor Igor Kobzev reports that one person has been injured, according to the latest information.
The multiple-alarm fire was around 1,000 square meters (10,763 square feet), the governor said. Emergency services later said the fire occupied around 400 square meters (around 4305 square feet).
