Kyiv refuses to freeze conflict with Moscow

Source: Unian.net

Ukraine does not intend to freeze hostilities at the front following the liberation of Kherson, said Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the Ukrainian National Defense and Security Council, live on air during a national television marathon.

We’re not able to freeze anything. We’re not cold storage. We must liberate our territory, regardless of the weather, regardless of the time of year. We can’t imagine stopping because these are our people, we see how they suffer, how they greet our boys, our liberators, with tears in their eyes.

So the task of our armed forces, which the president of our country set for them, is fairly simple to understand – the liberation of all of our territory from the terrorists and occupiers. And this will be accomplished. It’s only a question of time.

As The New York Times reports, Ukrainian troops have signaled that they don’t plan to halt their offensive, continuing their advance to the east and, to the south, shelling positions behind enemy lines on the left bank of the Dnipro.

In times of war it is impossible to immediately verify information disseminated even by official representatives of parties to the conflict.
