On October 6, 60 year old Irina Tsybaneva left a note on the grave of the Russian president’s parents. The note read: “Parents of a serial killer, take him, we have so much pain and misery from him, the whole world prays for his death [illegible]. Death to Putin, you raised a freak and a killer.”

Tsybaneva has been accused of violating a burial place on the grounds of political or ideological hatred, and has since been living under house arrest. However, the Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg canceled her house arrest.

Zaks.ru reports that a judge canceled the house arrest and replaced it with a ban on certain actions. In particular, she’s prohibited from using the Internet, as well as from visiting Serafimovskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg and talking to cemetery staff.

Tsybaneva could face up to five years in prison under Article 244 part 2 of the Criminal Code.
