Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov said Wednesday that grain shipments through the Black Sea humanitarian corridor will resume on November 3 as part of the grain export deal that was reached in July.
UN Joint Coordination Centre Coordinator Amir Abdulla confirmed the plans.
Earlier, representatives from Ukraine, Turkey, and the UN agreed not to send any ships through the Black Sea corridor as part of the grain transport deal on November 2, though Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that cargo ships flying the Turkish flag continued exporting products from Ukraine.
On October 30, Russia announced it was suspending its participation in the deal after Ukrainian forces allegedly used drones to attack Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
