Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu repeats 'dirty bomb' allegations to India and China

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reached out to his counterparts in India and China on Wednesday to express his “concern regarding a possible false flag attack involving the use of a ‘dirty bomb’” by Ukraine.

The two press releases published by the Russian Defense Ministry were identical. Both read as follows:

The situation in Ukraine was discussed. Army General Sergey Shoigu expressed his concern regarding a possible false flag attack by Ukraine involving the use of a “dirty bomb.”

Shoigu previously delivered the same message to defense ministers from the U.S., Great Britain, Turkey, and France.

Russian authorities have been unable to present any evidence for these allegations. Western leaders and analysts consider the claims unfounded and believe Russia may be planning to use them as a "pretext for escalation."
