Putin dissolves Russia's Federal Tourism Agency

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree dissolving Russia’s Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism). According to the document, the Economic Development Ministry will take over the agency’s responsibilities.

The Kremlin has not provided an explanation for the dissolution. Zarina Doguzova, the now-former head of the agency, has not commented publicly.

Rostourism was created in 2004.
