Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says mobilization has not entered ‘second wave’

Source: Mayak

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov denied reports that Russia has begun a “second wave” of mobilization, according to an audio clip posted by the radio station Mayak.

“There’s no new wave. And each individual governor needs to be asked what they meant,” Peskov said.

On October 11, authorities in Russia’s Kursk and Rostov regions reported that a new wave of mobilization had begun. On October 12, the Rostov regional military commissariate posted a video in which he said the mobilization is not being conducted in “waves.”
