Zelensky reports eight more villages liberated in Kherson region

Ukraine’s military has liberated eight more villages in the country’s Kherson region from Russian occupation, Volodymyr Zelensky announced during his daily address to the nation on Tuesday.

“The villages of Liubymivka, Khreshchenivka, Zolota Balka, Bilyaivka, Ukrainka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Mala Oleksandrivka, and Davydiv Brid have been liberated from the occupiers and stabilized. And that’s far from a complete list. Our warriors aren’t stopping. And it’s only a matter of time before we drive the occupiers from all of our land,” the Ukrainian president said.

In addition to the village in the Kherson region, Ukrainian forces reclaimed new cities and villages in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions, Zelensky reported.

On October 4, Ukrainian presidential aide Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported that a total of 1,534 towns and villages in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions have been liberated. Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Yevhen Yenin said that in the Kherson region alone, Ukraine has freed 50 towns and villages.
