Belarusian authorities say two Telegram ‘sticker packs’ mocking Lukashenko are ‘extremist’

The Belarusian Information Ministry has designated as extremist two “sticker packs” on Telegram that mock President Alexander Lukashenko and imply that true popular support for the long-time dictator does not exceed three percent of the population.

The “Sasha 3%” sticker pack contains images that refer to a meme from before the 2020 presidential election based on Internet polls showing that only 3 percent of Belarusians planned to vote for Lukashenko (whose declared victory later sparked large-scale, months-long protests).
