Russia puts Novosibirsk opposition politician Helga Pirogova on federal wanted list

Novosibirsk municipal deputy Helga Pirogova, who faces criminal charges for spreading “disinformation” about the Russian military, has been added to Russia’s federal wanted list. Pirogova left Russia for Georgia after criminal proceedings were launched against her in July.
The case against Pirogova was opened after she posted a tweet about Russian soldiers who died in Ukraine. According to Tayga.Info, a group of regional and municipal lawmakers reported Progova’s tweet to the Russian Investigative Committee.
