Kherson’s Antonivskyi Bridge to be fully repaired by next week

The Antonivskyi Bridge, which crosses the Dnipro River in Ukraine’s occupied Kherson region, will be fully repaired next week, according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. “We’ve sent the country’s best bridge building company,” Khusnullin said.

The Antonivskyi Bridge has been out of commission since last Wednesday, when it was damaged by shelling from Ukrainian forces. Since then, the Russian military has only had two crossways to transport supplies over the Dnipro River, one of which is 40 miles from the center of Kherson.
