Russian activist Pavel Krisevich conducted a protest in solidarity with political prisoners outside of the FSB headquarters on Moscow’s Lubyanka Square on the night of Thursday, November 5.

During the protest, Krisevich attached himself to a cross, replicating the image of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Other activists in raincoats labeled “FSB” then set fire to the base of the cross and began feeding the flame with volumes of criminal cases.

According to MBX Media, the activists used a special substance that burns at 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) and isn’t harmful to people.

Officers from the Federal Protective Service (FSO) arrested Krisevich following the protest.
