Russia’s official coronavirus case count hits 432,000

On the morning of June 3, Russian officials announced that the country recorded 8,536 new coronavirus infections in the past day (327 fewer new cases than the day before) bringing the nation’s total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 432,277 patients.

Another 178 people reportedly died from the disease, raising Russia’s total number of fatalities officially caused by COVID-19 to 5,215. As many as 195,957 people in Russia are known to have recovered fully, including 8,972 in the past day.

Russia says it’s conducted more than 11.4 million coronavirus tests, so far, including 274,400 in the past day.
