Three police officers in Angarsk sent to prison for torturing suspect in camera-theft case

A city court in Angarsk has sentenced three police officers to between 3.5 and four years in prison for violently abusing their authority. According to the website Mediazona, the officers summoned a man for questioning in April 2017 and accused him of stealing a camera. When the suspect refused to confess, the police handcuffed him to a chair and beat him.
