Former Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov has a spanking new private plane

Igor Shuvalov refuses to live in anything but style. Journalists at Forbes Russia have discovered that the former deputy prime minister and new head of Vnesheconombank owns (through his family) an elite twin-engine “Gulfstream G650” business jet worth roughly $70 million. Forbes says it got the information from the Luxembourg Civil Aviation Directorate and confirmed it with an unnamed source.

The Gulfstream G650 is registered to the Bermuda company Altitude X3, which Shuvalov transferred to his son after 2016, when anti-corruption activist Alexey Navalny revealed that Shuvalov and his wife were using a different private jet (a Bombardier Global Express) that was also registered to Altitude X3.
