Russian aviation academy reprimands cadets for their dishonorable hip gyrations

Cadets at the civil aviation institute in Ulyanovsk who last month sparked a nationwide flashmob by filming themselves dancing suggestively in their underwear to Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” have been officially reprimanded by their school.

Rector Sergey Krasnov said in a statement that the young men “dishonored themselves, the entire institute, and the aviation industry as a whole.” The school also sat down with the students and their parents to chat about their terrible deed.

Following news that the aviation cadets would face punishment for a video that many Russian Internet users clearly enjoyed, students at colleges and institutes across Russia filmed their own “Satisfaction” dance routines in a supportive flashmob in mid-January.
