Mikhail Prokhorov reportedly sells ‘RBC’ to Grigory Berezkin

Grigory Berezkin, the owner of the ESN group, one of Russia's largest holding companies, has reportedly purchased the RBC media company from Mikhail Prokhorov, three sources close to RBC’s management told the television station Dozhd on Friday. The deal has not yet been confirmed officially. 

Berezkin told Dozhd that a formal agreement could be imminent, while representatives of ESN group and Prokhorov’s Onexim Group refused to comment on the rumors. Berezkin previously said a completed deal would be unlikely before June 15. 

Mikhail Prokhorov has owned RBC since 2010.
