Dmitry Demushkin, one of the leaders of the ultra nationalist group Russkie that has been under a court ordered temporary ban since August 2015, has registered a merchandising trademark, “Russian March,” in his name.

“I've been given all the documents. I am now the owner of the brand ‘Russian March.’ It will be used to help hold sporting and public events, and also for commercial purposes,” says Demushkin.

The brand name took half a year to get officially registered.

“Russian March” is also the name for a now-traditional annual rally for Russian nationalists organized in major cities across the country. The first Russian March rally was held in 2005. Dmitry Demushkin is the rally organizer for Moscow.
