A Russian production studio has announced plans to adapt the popular American TV shows “House” and “Modern Family” for Russian audiences.

The production company, “Non-Stop Production,” has been behind some of Russia’s biggest blockbuster films of the past several years, including “The 9th Company” (2005), “The Inhabited Island” (2008), and “Stalingrad” (2013).

It’s not yet known when the TV show adaptations will reach Russians’ television sets, or who will play Dr. Gregory House, memorably portrayed in the American series by British actor Hugh Laurie.
