It took fans just five seconds to rip out the new seats at Moscow's ‘Dynamo’ stadium
It took sports fans roughly five seconds to rip out the new seats at Moscow's “Dynamo” stadium. This discovery was made at a public “crash test” today, where fans were given five minutes to test the strength of new plastic seats purchased for the stadium's renovations. (Five minutes proved to be more than enough time.)
The company that makes the seats has promised to reinforce its design and carry out another public test, once the improvements are complete. Each seat cost Dynamo roughly 4,000 rubles ($52). When it's ready, the stadium will accommodate about 26,000 spectators.
