There's a new trend among women in Moscow bent on beating back the forces of time. The rejuvenation procedure is strange and a bit disgusting, but advocates insist that it's effective. They rub African snails all over their faces.
One treatment lasts about 20 minutes and costs 4,000 rubles (roughly $50). It involves a beauty specialist placing one or several snails on a client's face, focusing on the forehead, cheeks, eyebrows, and nose.

According to a report by the network M24.ru, some experts are skeptical about the procedure's merits.
