On March 19, Russian Internet users discovered a curious photo report on the news website Ura.ru, published almost a month ago on February 23. The report features photographs from a celebration of Maslenitsa (“Pancake Week”) in the city of Stavropol, which included the creation of a giant pancake, served to the public with snow shovels.

According to Ura.ru, the pancake didn’t turn out entirely right, so the “chefs” scooped up pieces using snow shovels and served it to holiday-goers.
