On Saturday night, Russian forces launched another massive strike on Ukrainian cities. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia deployed 593 drones, two Banderol-type jet drones, 38 Kh-101 cruise missiles, eight Kalibr cruise missiles, and two Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles. Most were intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. Still, the Ukrainian military reported that five missiles and 31 drones struck 15 different sites, while debris from drones and missiles fell in 25 other locations.

The worst damage was in Kyiv, where four people were killed, including a 12-year-old girl, as well as a nurse and a patient at the Institute of Cardiology. In one suburb, a low-rise residential complex was almost completely destroyed. Across Ukraine, more than 100 civilian facilities were damaged and more than 70 people injured, according to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
