Russia put Meduza journalist and podcast host Vladislav Gorin on its wanted list. The basis for his criminal case? ‘Disseminating informational materials about political and social processes.’
Russia’s Interior Ministry has put Vladislav Gorin, a Meduza journalist and the host of the podcast “Chto sluchilos” (“What Happened”), on its wanted list, Mediazona reported.
In June, it emerged that authorities had opened a case against Gorin under the Criminal Code article on participating in the activities of an “undesirable organization” (Part 1 of Article 284.1).
The case stems from six audio recordings published in August, September, October, and November 2025 in which, according to the Investigative Committee, Gorin “distributed informational materials about political and social processes taking place in the Russian Federation.”
