Polish authorities seized a building used for the Russian embassy’s school in Warsaw. The school’s employees were required to leave the building before the evening of April 29, RIA Novosti reports.
Russia’s Ambassador to Poland, Sergey Andreev, called the incident a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and said that the school will continue to operate elsewhere at the Russian embassy.
In response to Warsaw’s actions, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that there would be “a harsh reaction and consequences for Poland’s interests in Russia.”
