Fire on the Crimean Bridge seen from space

Source: Meduza
On the morning of October 8, a truck exploded on the bridge between Russia and Crimea. The explosion damaged one side of the car bridge. On the railway bridge (which runs above the car bridge) a train hauling fuel tanks caught fire. The fire was extinguished within a few hours. On a satellite photo distributed by Planet Labs PBC, smoke was visible from the tanks burning on the bridge. By evening the burning tanks had still not been removed from the bridge, but train traffic on one track had resumed. The surviving car lane was also open to traffic.
