Kazan International Airport's latest technological innovation: A patriotic, flag-waving robot

A new robot has appeared in Russia’s Kazan International Airport. It has only one role: to wave the flag of Tatarstan, the region of which Kazan is the capital. The device is a mechanical arm with a flag instead of a hand.
A video of the robot welcoming guests was posted on the social site Bez Buldyrabyz (Yes We Can). According to the site, the mechanical arm was designed and created by the Kazan-based company Eydos-Robotekhnika.
