Not everybody makes it to Vladimir Putin's Brady-Bunch government roll call

During Vladimir Putin’s annual live call-in show (still airing at the time of this writing), the president video-conferenced with regional governors and members of his cabinet. The television audience even got a Brady-Bunch-style look at everyone — everyone except Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, whose square showed nothing but a vacant chair.

As it turns out, Volgograd Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov was also running late, but he had the good sense to sit one of his press attachés in his seat.

On June 7, Putin held his latest marathon call-in show on live television. For the first time in a decade, he ditched the live studio audience, returning to the model he used from 2001 to 2008.
